UNIT 5 - SAMPLE TEST
I) Read the text and answer the questions. ___/5
Koalas are found in the coastal regions of eastern Australia. The koala is a mammal and the babies are carried in their mother’s pouch. When they are one year old, baby koalas cling to their mother’s back constantly. Koalas have become endangered, because their soft fur is highly valued. Another reason is because their habitats have been destroyed by builders. Koalas only eat one thing- eucalyptus leaves. If they can’t where there are eucalyptus trees, they will not survive.
